I feel as if I'm going over the same ground over and over again. I'm stuck and cannot move forward...

Maybe I'm too naive, too inexperienced. Too green. Somehow, I seem to hit problems with my work all the time. My first job, I quit only after 2 weeks because I couldn't stand such a brainless job. Also, I felt as if I was an outsider in the company, that I was a THING, that the person that is ME doesn't matter. Now, this second job, I'm working for people I know. But I'm begginning to realize that maybe I shouldn't work with them. I've noticed it before; some people shouln't work with people with whom they are very familiar. It seems that I'm one of those people.

Is it because I'm too green or am I too picky? Or is it just that I haven't found my place?

I thought I could make decisions on my own. Seems like I'm wrong.

I feel like a puppet, a mouthpiece. Whatever I want to do, I must inform and gain their go-ahead first. Is it like this everywhere, or is this a special case?

In any case, I think both sides are wrong. But what can I do? He's the boss. In the extreme case I can quit; but then I'll feel bad towards someone else. And I'll be out of a job. Not that I need the money, but it reflects bad on me, that I cannot keep at a job for more than a month.

In any case, I've learned my lesson. I won't ever work for someone I know anymore.

Dragon Prince & Dragon Star

Another really good series! People should read them at least twice: Once for pure enjoyment and the second time for the lessons hidden in the script.

Rohan is really a very wise man; all our leaders would do well to learn from him. His views on power are refreshing, and his love for his people humbling. A visionary who has strength enough to make his vision come true. A dreamer who enables others to dream alongside him. And at the last, a realist who can keep going even though his dream has been shattered.

Melanie Rawn spins a gripping tale of sweat, blood and tears set in a primitive world where dragons abound and people communicate by light. Like the Sunrunners of her books, Melanie Rawn spins a wonderful story.

"I am High Prince - that makes it my fault." - Rohan, son of Zehava, husband of Sioned, father of Pol

little girl talking

I'm a little kid trapped in an adult's body. Where are we going? Is there a destination or are we drifting blindly? Is what we see really what it seems like?

In his book "Let There be Lite", Rupert Morgan paints an extremely thought-provoking picture of a world very much like ours. Darkly disturbing, his arrows hit too close to home for comfort - which is exactly why everyone should read it. It is to Morgan's credit that he manages to discuss such gloomy and portentous proceedings with a witty humour that gets you laughing out loud - before what he is saying hits you and you realise that take away the humour, there is really nothing funny about the situation.

The feeling in my heart as I finish the book can only be described as bittersweet.

Read it. I sincerely and strongly urge everyone. Read it, and share your thoughts with me.

Welcome

Well come, friends and strangers.
This is Dreamland, and I am the Dreamer.
Share my dreams with me, but do not desecrate them.
Share your dreams with me, and let our dreams take flight.
Dream, friends and strangers.

Happy dreaming.
